Thank you for your patience. Missouri does not have any specific law regarding holiday pay. Further it provides that Missouri employers are only to pay overtime only when the total hours have exceeded 40 hours a week. It further states there is no overtime to be paid on a daily basis.
However, it does provide that if the employer stated he would pay a certain rate as a holiday compensation but fails to pay that rate, that the employee has the right to file a claim disputing the wages.
